Leveraging YouTube and SEO to 13x e-commerce revenue
AM Solar built a new website and their ranking in organic search results plummeted. AM Solar wanted to drive more traffic to the website to increase sales of its online solar products and DIY kits as well as to attract potential customers to its storefront for custom RV solar installations. At the time, they were experiencing about 2,000 visits per month to their website.
The RV solar energy system industry had a lot of online search volume from people looking for DIY solar installations, which was a great opportunity to increase AM Solar’s online sales. There were also big opportunities to drive traffic and sales with “how-to” videos on YouTube as well.
